House Rules – Bánkitó 2023

You may only enter the festival with a valid wristband. Parking is limited. It may be possible to find unguarded parking in the area near the lake. Entering the area in front of the camp by vehicle is prohibited. This area is exclusively for festival staff with a valid permit. For safety reasons, it is officially forbidden to park on the side of the road leading to the camp. In all locations, parking is taken at your own risk.

TICKETS (2023)

  • The 3-day pass is valid from the 13th of July, 4:00 (pm) to the 16th of July 10:00 (am).
  • The Thursday day-ticket is valid from the 13th of July, 10:00 (am) to 10:00 (am) the next day.
  • The Friday and Saturday day-tickets are valid from 8:00 (am) on the given day until 10:00 (am) the following day.
  • Tóparty ticket: the Tóparty ticket is valid for all venues outside the Tábori venue. You can visit all our venues in Bánk village and around the lake: the Lake Stage, the Machine House, the Theater venue, the Szájensz Szeánsz venues, the Civic Culture tent, the Bángyöngye guesthouse, the Children's Playground, the Mayor's Office. The Tóparty ticket is not valid for the Tábor (Campsite) venues, i.e. for the programmes of the Csakra, the Small Stage and the Aurora venue. The Thursday Tóparty ticket is valid from 10:00 on Thursday and the Friday and Saturday Tóparty ticket is valid from 8:00 on the respective day until 10:00 the next morning. You will have the option to upgrade your Tóparty ticket to a full value day ticket on the day of the event by paying the difference. 
  • Entrance tickets purchased online can be exchanged for wristbands on-site at the entrances or cashiers.
  • We cannot offer refunds on any entrance tickets or camping tickets once purchased.
  • We will place security signs on each printed tickets, which we will inspect at the entrance whenever you enter the festival area.

CAMPING TICKETS

  • 3-day camping tickets allow you to bring 1 tent into Bánki Camp and to camp there. The ticket authorizes you to occupy 1 camping space for the duration of the festival, regardless of the number of days spent at the festival itself. The number of camping places is limited, therefore camping tickets can only be purchased online and in a limited quantity.
  • A tent ticket for the Lakeside Camping is intended for a tent and not for a person. The tent ticket is valid from 10:00 a.m. on the day of the reservation until 10:00 a.m. the next morning. The ticket entitles the owner to bring in one two person tent. For larger tents more than one tent ticket must be purchased. Prices include IFA and VAT.
  • We cannot be held responsible for items left in the camping area tent, please drop off all valuables at the non-stop luggage storage!

Children under the age of 12 can visit the festival for free. Children under 16 may only enter the festival grounds if accompanied by an adult, and must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the festival area.

We ask everyone to use the publicly available toilets (WC) in the festival area. Treat the public areas with respect: please use only the designated toilets. The Bánkgyönge Guest House bathroom is exclusively for the house’s guests.

We ask that you take care of our natural surroundings and do not litter. Sorted waste disposal will be available, so please use the designated trash cans!

A 12-pack of bottled water can be brought into the festival per person. Food and drink cannot be brought into the festival to be resold.

If you would like to bring a dog with you, we ask that you bring its vaccination certification and provide your name and contact information on the dog’s collar or another easily visible location.

Sound and image recordings may be made of any visitors. Recordings may be used by sponsors, media, and the Bánkító Festival staff on various online and offline channels.

If you notice a disturbance, health threat, or any other problem, please immediately notify festival personnel, who will wear staff passes and can be found at every festival site.

We ask that you do not conduct any economic, commercial, or advertising activities at the festival without the appropriate permit.

It is forbidden to serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 in all retail and entertainment sites of the festival. The use of illegal drugs in the event area is forbidden and punishable by law.

A 24-hour doctor and emergency-care post will operate at the festival at the Tóparti guest house. We will provide access to basic medical treatment and first-aid services per legal regulations for all Bánkító Festival participants.

We ask you to enjoy yourselves to the utmost, but please take care of your own and others’ well-being.

By entering the festival and receiving a wristband, all visitors automatically accept these Regulations and their rules.
